Overview

AsiaCalc is designed with privacy as a core principle. All financial calculations run entirely in your browser. No financial data you enter into any calculator is ever sent to our servers, stored in a database, or shared with third parties.

Local Storage (Browser Storage)

AsiaCalc uses your browser's localStorage to save your last-used input values for each calculator. This lets us pre-fill the calculator with your previous values when you return, saving you time.

• localStorage data is stored only on your device
• It is never transmitted to any server
• You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data
• It does not expire unless you manually clear it

Google AdSense

AsiaCalc may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your interests and your previous visits to this or other websites.

• Google may use the DoubleClick cookie to show you relevant ads
• You can opt out of personalised advertising at google.com/settings/ads
• AdSense cookies do not have access to your calculator inputs

Google Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use AsiaCalc. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics collects:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• General location (country/city level)
• Device type and browser
• Referral source (how you found us)

Google Analytics does not collect your financial inputs or personally identifiable information. We have configured Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled.

Currency Converter API

The currency converter fetches exchange rates from open.exchangerate-api.com. This request only sends a request for exchange rate data, with no user-specific information included. Rates are cached in your browser localStorage for 1 hour to minimise API calls.

No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or process any of the following:

• Your name, email, or contact details (unless you email us directly)
• Your salary, tax, or any financial calculator inputs
• Your account or login credentials (there is no account system)
• Payment information of any kind
